2025 Ohio Sheep Improvement Association/Ohio Sheep and Wool Program Photo Contest

Purpose: To generate Ohio sheep, lamb, and wool industry photos to utilize in the first ever Ohio Sheep Improvement Association and Ohio Sheep and Wool Program created Educational and Promotional Calendar.

Selection of calendar photos: A selection committee will be created to identify the best twelve (12) photos submitted for the Promotional and Educational Calendar. Name and town of the person that submitted the photo swill be identified on the calendar.

Photos must be in LANDSCAPE format to fit onto the calendar appropriately and must be a HIGH-RESOLUTION file.

Deadline: July 15, 2025

Photos: may be Color or Black & White
Photos must be identified in these categories:
Portrait of a sheep or lamb
Flock/Farm Scene
Human Interest
Fairs and Exhibitions
Shearer at Work
Wool or Wool Products
Limit ONE photo per division per contestant
Entries MUST have the following information included with the submission to qualify: Name, Address, Phone Number, and email address along with the category which you would like the photo identified
Winners will be announced during the Buckeye Shepherd’s Symposium on December 6, 2025.

There will be a special award for Best of Show and for the Top 12 photos selected for the Educational and Promotional Calendar.
